Lead-free Soldering Made Easy
Lead-free soldering is fast becoming a standard.
The change to more environmentally-friendly products has reached its final stage: from 01.07.2006 the use of some substances will be illegal. This regulation applies to new electric and electronic appliances. The directive 2002/96/EC of 27 January 2003 introduced limitations for the use of these substances in electrical and electronic equipment..
In Germany, the law on electric and electronic appliances (Elektro- und Elektronikgerätegesetz) prohibits putting appliances containing certain substances into circulation from 01.07.2006.
This mainly affects the following products:
- IT and telecommunications appliances
- Consumer electronics appliances
- Household appliances
- Electrical tools
- Lighting products
- Vending machines,
- Toys, products for leisure and sports.
- lead
- cadmium
- mercury
- hexavalent chrome
- two kinds of brominated flame retardants
We have been manufacturing PCBs for prototypes as well as for batch production according to the RoHS directive (lead-free products) for a long time. Other types of PCB can be ordered upon special request. In our PCBs we do not use any of the hazardous substances mentioned above.

We have completed research, analysis and tests for you: the result is the ideal recipe for placing components on your PCBs using lead-free surfaces. We have developed these soldering components in co-operation with our partner Felder-Löttechnik (soldering technology) for your benefit. ISO-Flux soldering flux in a 10 ml flux pen, at only € 12.00 per unit
ISO-Cream soldering paste in a 10 g cartridge (5 ccm), at only € 14.00 per unit
Naturally, all prices are inclusive of VAT!
The flux as well as the cream solder were especially developed for lead-free applications. As these substances have a limited storage life, we offer them in special sizes.
